Diet by Priyanka
Frequently Asked Questions
These are the questions people ask before starting. If yours is not here, message Priyanka and she will answer it.
Before you start
Is this a diet plan, or will I get a fixed chart?
You’ll get a plan, and a proper one. But it’s built around your hunger, energy, routine, and goals, not a generic chart that’s the same for everyone. As you progress, it’s adjusted based on how your body is actually responding.
What happens during the Discovery Call?
It’s a proper conversation about your history, lifestyle, and what hasn’t worked before. By the end, you’ll know what’s likely driving your symptoms and what the right next step looks like for you.
How much does the Discovery Call cost, and what’s included?
The Discovery Call is ₹499. It covers your history, current concerns, lifestyle and goals, and ends with either a clear plan recommendation or an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit for you right now.
Does the ₹499 include a diet plan?
No, and this is the most common misunderstanding. The ₹499 buys the conversation, not the plan.
The plan itself is priced monthly, and longer engagements are charged at a lower monthly rate. The ₹499 you paid for the call comes off a three, six or twelve month package. It is not adjusted against a single month. The packages page explains how each level works.
Most dietitians sell a one-time fee and a fixed chart, which is why people expect the same here.
Why is the plan priced monthly rather than once?
Because the work is the adjusting, not the chart. A plan written once and never revisited stops fitting the moment your hunger, energy or blood work shifts.
The monthly fee includes reaching Priyanka directly, not an assistant.
Do I need to get any tests done before starting?
Not necessarily. The starting point is your food, routine, and how you’re feeling day to day. Tests are sometimes useful later to guide specific decisions, but they’re not a requirement to begin.
If dieting has not worked before
I’ve tried dieting before and my weight isn’t moving. Can this help?
Weight that won’t move despite genuine effort is usually a sign that something in the underlying picture needs attention before the numbers shift. That means hunger, cravings, sleep, stress, or meal structure. This is looked at in detail before any plan is suggested.
Specific conditions
Can nutrition support PCOS, thyroid or prediabetes?
Yes, and each one is answered separately below, because the day to day picture is different for each. In every case nutrition works alongside medical care and medication rather than replacing them. There is a fuller page for PCOS, thyroid, prediabetes and fatty liver.
Can nutrition support PCOS?
Nutrition can support how PCOS shows up day to day, including cravings, energy, and weight resistance. It’s not a cure for PCOS and doesn’t replace medical care, but a well-structured plan can work alongside it.
Does nutrition help with thyroid-related weight or energy issues?
It can support energy levels and weight management alongside thyroid treatment. Nutrition doesn’t replace thyroid medication, but the right approach to meals and nutrients can make a noticeable difference to how you feel day to day.
Is this suitable if I have prediabetes?
Yes. Prediabetes often comes with blood sugar swings, hunger spikes, and afternoon energy dips. Support focuses on steadying these patterns over time, alongside any guidance from your doctor.
Do you work with clients managing fatty liver?
Yes. Fatty liver often comes with confusion about which foods help and which don’t. The approach looks at dietary fat, food choices, and overall eating patterns, working alongside any medical guidance you’re already following.
I get bloated often. Can nutrition help with gut health?
Bloating can come from a number of everyday factors, meal pace, certain foods, fibre intake, or how meals are spaced through the day. These are reviewed individually instead of assuming one cause fits everyone.
Weight gain and muscle
I’m trying to gain weight or build muscle but struggle to eat enough. Can you help with that?
Yes. For a low-appetite or hard-gainer pattern, the focus is on practical ways to increase protein and overall intake without it feeling forced, alongside guidance suited to training and recovery.
Do you only work with people trying to lose weight?
No. Diet by Priyanka also works with people trying to gain weight, build muscle, manage gut issues, or to get their energy and appetite back on track.
How consultations run
Is everything online, or do you also see clients in person?
Consultations are primarily online. That works for clients in Shahdara and across Delhi NCR, and equally for clients anywhere else in India. In-person consultations are available on request, at the practice in Mansarovar Park.
How often is my plan reviewed or adjusted?
For clients on an active programme, check-ins are weekly, or as often as the case needs. Your plan is adjusted based on how you’re responding, not on a fixed schedule that ignores your feedback.
