What nutrition support for a thyroid condition involves

A thyroid condition changes metabolic rate, and with it energy, appetite and weight. Priyanka works on the nutrition side of that, alongside the treatment your doctor has prescribed.

This page sets out what she looks at, and how a plan gets adjusted. It also says where nutrition stops and medicine begins.

What people usually arrive with

Medication is in place, the numbers look acceptable, and the person still does not feel right. That is the position most thyroid enquiries start from:

  • Tiredness that sleep does not fix: eight hours in bed and still flat by mid-morning
  • Weight that climbed and stayed: often through a period when nothing about the eating changed
  • Slow progress: effort that would have worked before, now producing little
  • Digestion that turned sluggish: heaviness after meals, irregular bowel habits
  • Conflicting advice: long lists of foods to avoid, with no explanation attached

That last one does the most damage. People arrive having cut whole food groups on the strength of a forwarded message. They eat less well for it.

If that pattern sounds familiar, Priyanka has written in more detail about why weight stalls when you are already eating very little.

What Priyanka looks at first

Nothing gets written until she has taken a history. That covers:

  • Your diagnosis, your medication, and how long you have been on it
  • Recent thyroid blood work, and what your doctor said about it
  • What you eat now, when you eat it, and how the day is structured
  • Energy across the day, sleep quality, and digestion
  • Every food you have already removed, and why you removed it

A good deal of the early work is putting food back. Priyanka builds around protein at each meal, vegetables, and fats that suit you. Meal timing is set so that medication and food do not collide.

How the plan gets built and adjusted

Priyanka does not write diet charts. She provides nutrition support that is reviewed and adjusted as your body responds.

Thyroid treatment gets tuned over time, and dosage changes move energy and appetite with them. A plan written before a dose change will not fit after one.

So the plan is a starting point. You report back on energy, hunger, digestion and weight, Priyanka reads what changed, and the next version reflects it. Between reviews you can message her on WhatsApp instead of waiting for the next one.

What nutrition support can and cannot do

Priyanka is a qualified nutritionist. She is not a doctor, and she does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.

Nutrition support can change what you eat and how full you feel. Over time it can change how your energy and weight respond. It does not replace thyroid medication, and it does not correct a thyroid condition.

Dosage, monitoring intervals and blood work belong to your doctor. Priyanka works alongside that and refers you back when something needs medical attention.

How long people stay on support

Some concerns may require a longer period of personalised nutrition support.

One month gives you structure, a plan built around your routine, and a first round of adjustment. Three months is the length many people settle into, because it leaves room for several rounds of review. Six and twelve month engagements suit people who want the reviewing to continue, with no stop date in view.

Priyanka recommends a length after the Discovery Call, not before it.

What it costs

Every engagement starts with a Discovery Call at ₹499, which comes off a three, six or twelve month package. The packages page sets out all four levels and how the fee works.

Food that fits a thyroid plan

The plans are built around everyday Indian cooking, not diet food. Priyanka has published ten of the meals she uses most, with method and nutrition figures for each.

The low-carb recipe library shows the kind of food a plan is made of.

Start with a Discovery Call

The call is a consultation, not a sales pitch. You talk through your diagnosis, your history and what has not worked. You leave with a view on the right next step.
