What nutrition support for fatty liver involves
Fatty liver is usually found by accident, on a scan or a blood test taken for something else. Priyanka works on the nutrition side of it, alongside whatever your doctor has advised.
This page sets out what she looks at, and how a plan gets adjusted. It also says where nutrition stops and medicine begins.
What people usually arrive with
Fatty liver is usually found by accident, in a scan or a blood test ordered for something else. The enquiries that arrive here tend to describe one of these situations:
- An incidental finding: grade one or grade two fatty liver on an ultrasound nobody expected
- Raised liver enzymes: a report flagged by a doctor, with a note to lose weight
- Weight gained around the middle: often alongside a borderline sugar or lipid reading
- Fear, with no instructions: told the news, told to eat better, and left to work out how
- Fat avoided altogether: every oil and nut cut out, on the assumption that dietary fat causes it
That last assumption costs people the most. Removing all fat leaves meals that hold nobody full. That makes the eating harder to sustain.
What Priyanka looks at first
Nothing gets written until she has taken a history. That covers:
- Your scan report and liver enzymes, and what your doctor advised
- Any sugar, lipid or thyroid readings taken at the same time
- What a normal day of eating looks like, meal by meal
- Cooking fats, portion sizes, and how often meals come from outside the house
- Alcohol, if it is part of the picture, and how much movement the week contains
From there the plan gets built around protein, vegetables, and a controlled quantity of the right fats. Refined carbohydrate and sweetened drinks get the most attention. They tend to matter more here than the ghee in the dal.
How the plan gets built and adjusted
Priyanka does not write diet charts. She provides nutrition support that is reviewed and adjusted as your body responds.
Fatty liver work runs on repeat measurement. Weight, waist, energy and your doctor’s readings all tell you whether the plan is holding. The plan changes on the strength of what comes back.
So the plan is a starting point. You report back on hunger, energy, weight and any new reports, and the next version reflects them. Between reviews you can message her on WhatsApp instead of waiting for the next one.
What nutrition support can and cannot do
Priyanka is a qualified nutritionist. She is not a doctor, and she does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
Nutrition support can change what you eat and how full you feel. Over time it can change how your weight and energy respond. It does not diagnose fatty liver, grade it, or replace anything your doctor has prescribed.
Imaging, enzyme monitoring and any medical treatment are your doctor’s remit. Priyanka works alongside that and refers you back when something needs medical attention.
How long people stay on support
Some concerns may require a longer period of personalised nutrition support.
One month gives you structure, a plan built around your routine, and a first round of adjustment. Three months is the length many people settle into, because it leaves room for several rounds of review. Six and twelve month engagements suit people who want the reviewing to continue, with no stop date in view.
Priyanka recommends a length after the Discovery Call, not before it.
What it costs
Every engagement starts with a Discovery Call at ₹499, which comes off a three, six or twelve month package. The packages page sets out all four levels and how the fee works.
Food that fits a fatty liver plan
The plans are built around everyday Indian cooking, not diet food. Priyanka has published ten of the meals she uses most, with method and nutrition figures for each.
The low-carb recipe library shows the kind of food a plan is made of.
Saturated fat matters more to a lipid profile than dietary cholesterol does, which changes what needs cutting. Are eggs safe if you have high cholesterol sets out what the recent evidence found.
Start with a Discovery Call
The call is a consultation, not a sales pitch. You talk through your report, your history and your routine. You leave with a view on the right next step.
